Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien continues as Rector of LHU for the 2025–2030 term

On December 15, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien received the decision to continue serving as Rector of LHU for the 2025–2030 term. He is an experienced educator and educational administrator who has worked closely with LHU for many years and held several important teaching and management positions. He possesses in-depth knowledge of the University’s education system, scientific research activities, and international collaboration.

Throughout his tenure as Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien has remained steadfast in his commitment to developing LHU into a higher education institution that prioritizes training quality, promotes scientific research, expands international collaboration, and fosters a spirit of lifelong learning among students.

• - August 1999 – December 2002: Deputy Head of the Office of Academic Affairs, LHU; Member of the Board of Directors, terms I and II, LHU;

• - December 2002 – March 2008: the Office of Academic Affairs, LHU; Member of the Board of Directors, terms  II, LHU;

• - March 2008 – January 2021: Vice Rector, LHU; Member of the Board of Directors, terms III and IV, LHU;

• - January 2021 – June 2021: Acting Rector, LHU; Member of the University Council, term 2020–2025;

• - June 2021 – Present: Rector of LHU; Member of the University Council, term 2020–2025;

• - Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Informatics Association, 5th term (2024–2029).

Continuing in his role as Rector, he is expected to further promote innovation, enhance training quality, strengthen scientific research, expand international cooperation, and foster a modern, humane, and globally integrated educational environment.
