LHU hosts Cultural exchange with Youth delegation from Jeollanamdo province, Korean

A bustling cultural exchange program was held at Auditorium A301, Campus 1 between LHU Korean Studies students and the Youth delegation from Jeollanamdo province, Korea on the afternoon of August 5, 2025.

The event was honored to welcome Ms. Park KyungAe - Head of the delegation, along with 16 young participants from Jeollanamdo; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Foreign Affairs. Representing LHU were Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, together with lecturers, staff, and students from the Department of Korean Studies.

More than just an occasion to enjoy vibrant performances and learn about the culture, tourism, and people of Dong Nai and Jeollanamdo, the program also offered a valuable opportunity for students from both countries to connect, learn, and foster international friendship.

The activities took place in a lively and engaging atmosphere, including Bilingual Vietnamese - Korean presentations introducing Jeollanamdo and Dong Nai through the youthful and creative perspectives of the participants; Quiz Game - a fun and challenging competition featuring intriguing questions about the culture, history, and distinctive traits of both localities; Music and dance performances, souvenir exchanges, and capturing memorable moments with commemorative photos.

The program wrapped up in an atmosphere filled with laughters, warm handshakes, and heartfelt promises to meet again. Sincere thanks to the Youth delegation from Jeollanamdo province for bringing such a meaningful cultural exchange to LHU; and heartfelt appreciation to the lecturers, Korean Studies students, and volunteers from both countries for making this journey of connection truly fulfilling and memorable.
