[FFA] Students of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Engage in Experiential Learning at TBS Logistics

On the morning of April 9, 2025, nearly 90 students from the Logistics major, representing classes 24LG111 and 24LG112 of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University, participated in a highly practical and insightful field trip to TBS Logistics, located at No. 9, DT743 Street, Binh Thang Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province.

The visit was organized with the objective of bridging the gap between academic theory and industry practice, while also equipping students with a clearer understanding of the real-world working environment within the logistics sector—one of Vietnam’s most dynamic and promising industries.

Under the guidance of faculty members such as Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet – Program Coordinator for Logistics, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Dung – in charge of internships and business relations, along with accompanying lecturers, students were divided into two groups to explore the company’s facilities, warehouse systems, and professional logistics operations.

During the exchange session, representatives from TBS Logistics shared valuable insights into warehouse management processes, transportation systems, and the technological applications used in logistics operations. They also highlighted the essential skills students need to develop in order to thrive in the industry. The company expressed high appreciation for the students’ eagerness to learn and affirmed its willingness to collaborate with Lac Hong University in future internship and recruitment programs.

Speaking on behalf of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet extended sincere thanks to the leadership of TBS Logistics for their warm welcome, active support, and for providing students with an exceptional opportunity to engage with the professional environment. She remarked, “Field trips like this are a vital component of our academic program. They not only enhance theoretical knowledge but also help students visualize real work settings, develop professional skills, and enrich their career experiences.”

The visit concluded in an enthusiastic and inspirational atmosphere. It served not only as a chance for students to engage with industry practice but also as an opportunity to clarify their career orientations. The Faculty of Finance and Accounting is committed to continuing the organization of such experiential learning activities to enhance training quality and strengthen university–industry linkages.
